BASKETBALL REGISTRATION IS ALMOST HERE
I KNOW IT'S HARD TO BELIEVE, BUT THE COLD WEATHER IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER AND SO IS OUR BASKETBALL PROGRAM.
REGISTRATION WILL BE HELD EVERY SATURDAY IN SEPTEMBER
FROM 11AM TO 1PM AT OUR CLUBHOUSE!!!
PLEASE BE SURE TO SIGN-UP EARLY THIS YEAR AS GYM SPACE IS VERY LIMITED AND WE MAY BE FORCED TO CREATE A WAITING LIST FOR THOSE WHO WAIT FOR OUR "EXTENDED" SIGN-UPS.
AND, IF YOU'RE INTERESTED IN COACHING OR HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS ABOUT IMPROVING OUR PROGRAM, PLEASE CONTACT ONE OF OUR BASKETBALL COMMISIONERS, SCOT THIEL(GIRLS) OR IZZY RIVERA(BOYS). USE THE "CONTACT US" LINK ON THE MAIN MENU.

Did anyone out there know that we are officially known as the Valley AA Tigers??? It's been a well guarded secret for many years, but now we think it's time to begin a new era at VAA with a new identity!! Therefore, we're asking for your ideas for a name that we can use for all of our travel teams as well as tournament teams to carry with us around the area. This name will be used for all sports and we want it to have both a nice "ring" to it as well as staying power!! Here's where you come in -- please send your suggestion to Steve Pearlman, our Director Of Public Relations by using the "Contact Us" link and then "general contacts". Please give only one name per email. We will then decide on the 4 best responses and put it on our website poll to decide the winner. All entries must be received by September 15th. The first person who sends in the eventual winner will receive a VAA Prize Pack -- think hot dogs, fries and more :-) . And then, we'll have the new logo contest, but that's another story......

We're very proud to announce that due to the extraordinary efforts of our Soccer Commissioner, Marc Leventhal, we are now officially joining with Langhorne AA, Middletown AA, Falls AA, and Abington AA to form one of the best cooperative in-house soccer programs in the area. We will be combining the best of all 5 organizations to bring our members quality soccer that will include nearly 800 area children . It's the first step toward a future that will bring our townships together and create an unmatched atmosphere of sportmanship and learning. It should be a special season and hopefully the start of a new era of soccer at VAA :-)
