The League will make available bats, helmets, and Catcher’s gear to be shared at the younger ages, especially. 

Essentials to be Purchased by Parent
·        Glove
·        Protection Cup
·        Baseball Pants
·        Baseball Socks (Color assigned to team)
·        Baseball Cleats (No Metal Spikes)

Boys are required to wear a protective cup.  In Coach Pitch and older, they will not be permitted to play certain positions without a cup. 

Recommended to be Purchased by Parent/Guardian
·        Baseball/Softball Batting Gloves
·        Batting Helmet

While the league provides helmets, it’s a good idea for players to have their own helmets (for both fit and hygiene). 

For guidance on glove and bat sizing, its generally recommended that for younger ages (5-8 YO’s) to err on the side of smaller versus larger.  It's easier for the younger kids to manage a smaller glove or bat, and helps promote better fundamentals if they can control the equipment.

For older ages (9+), most kids will have their own gear - gloves, bats, bags, etc.
